The Reach Out Teachers Network has been made possible because of
the generous support of the following groups and organisations:
Department of Health and Ageing
The Department of Health and Ageing have provided funding to the
Inspire Foundation to support initiatives that raise awareness
amongst young people about the ReachOut.com website. A key aim of
the Teachers Network initiative is to increase the number of
teachers that recommend the ReachOut.com website to their students
and use ReachOut.com resources in their classrooms.
Zig Inge Foundation
The Zig Inge Foundation generously provided funding for the
re-development of the Reach Out Teachers Network website and
inclusion of the interactive functionality of the Blog. The Zig
Inge Foundation also provided funding for the development and
implementation of the online professional development activities
presented by the Network.
Caledonia Foundation
The Caledonia Foundation generously supported the Reach Out
Teachers Network in providing funding for the development of the Oasis: Youth
homelessness matters resource.
The Black Dog Institute
The Black Dog Institute
and the Inspire Foundation have partnered
together to develop teaching and learning resources and a
professional development program for school staff to increase
awareness and understanding of anxiety and mood disorders. The HeadStrong
resource is now available for free download.
