Reach Out Teachers Network

Teachers Network supporters

The Reach Out Teachers Network has been made possible because of the generous support of the following groups and organisations:

Department of Health and Ageing

The Department of Health and Ageing have provided funding to the Inspire Foundation to support initiatives that raise awareness amongst young people about the ReachOut.com website. A key aim of the Teachers Network initiative is to increase the number of teachers that recommend the ReachOut.com website to their students and use ReachOut.com resources in their classrooms.

Zig Inge Foundation

The Zig Inge Foundation generously provided funding for the re-development of the website and inclusion of the interactive functionality of the Blog. The Zig Inge Foundation also provided funding for the development and implementation of professional development workshops to be delivered in Victoria during the first semester of the 2010 school year. For more information on these workshops go to the Professional Development Opportunities section.

Caledonia Foundation

The Caledonia Foundation generously supported the Reach Out Teachers Network in providing funding for the development of the Act Now: Youth homelessness matters resource.

The Black Dog Institute

The Black Dog Institute and the Inspire Foundation have partnered together to develop teaching and learning resources and a professional development program for school staff to increase awareness and understanding of anxiety and mood disorders. This project will commence in February 2010. Further information about how teachers can be involved in the development of these resources will be available on this website over the next few months.
