Research shows that on any given night in Australia 105,000
people are homeless and nearly half of these are under the age of
25.
We know that most young people have their first
experience with homelessness while they are still at
school. That's why the Reach Out Teachers Network
(ROTN) has teamed up with the Caledonia Foundation, Oasis
Youth Services and Youth Accommodation Australia to develop
resources for teachers to support students at risk of, or
experiencing homelessness.
For access to resources you can use with your students
check out the links to fact sheets and young people's stories
available on the ReachOut.com website and also the learning
resources available on the ROTN website.
