The Reach Out Teachers
Network is an accredited professional development provider and
has developed and delivered a range of training sessions at schools
and conferences throughout Australia. In this section of the
website you will find the latest research
on issues in the youth mental health field, hints and tips for
teachers on youth mental health issues you might come across in
your schools and conversations about
youth mental health that are taking place in the public
arena.
The Network is also developing a series of self-paced online
training modules that you can view any time, any place free of
charge to improve your understanding of mental health issues and to
upskill yourself in promoting mental health for students in your
classrooms. The first of those online modules is now available: Happiness and
positive psychology in the classroom, presented by Professor
Tim Sharp from the Happiness Institute (aka Dr Happy).
