With Valentines Day next Tuesday, our team at
reachout.com have put together a facebook competition for our 'Its
not you, it's me' Campaign as its not a day 'smelling of roses' for
everyone.
The compettion Goes live 12pm Tuesday and extends
over 4 weeks. In the campaign young people are encouraged to submit
photos with captions / text with their best advice for getting over
a break-up and moving on. They can vote on the submissions.The top
voted winner gets a $500 Red Balloon gift voucher, the Staff
favourite gets a $250 Red Balloon gift voucher.
Through the next month reachout.com will also be
highlighting for young people:
Articles, Fact Sheets, Stories - over the month
articles, information and stories about various relationship
topicsForum discussions - unhealthy relationships, break-ups and
other tough relationship topics will form the focus of discussion
on the Getting Real sessions and the monthly InfoBus discussion
(facilitated by a professional youth worker)
We have also shared an information sheet which you
may find useful in sharing with young people about getting through
relationship breakups.
