The Lesson ideas section contains easily accessible lesson
activities that explore concepts linked to promoting positive
mental health and wellbeing for your students. These activities can
be incorporated into existing units of work or can be used in
pastoral care sessions or other extra curricular programs.
The lessons have been developed to promote mental health and
wellbeing for students and support the use of Reach Out in classrooms. Teachers have an
important role in supporting young people to cope with growing up
and developing the life skills they need to cope with life's ups
and downs.
Make sure you share these lessons with your colleagues.
The more teachers using the lessons, the more students who know
about the Reach Out service.
We would love to get feedback from teachers and students who
have used the lessons as well as ideas for further resources that
the Teachers Network could develop. Use the Feedback Form
on the site to share your thoughts and ideas.
